Iranian Hackers Target President Aoun, PM Hariri’s Email Accounts

French newspaper Le Figaro reported two days in the past that the Iranian authorities have sponsored a large-scale cyber assault on Lebanese servers, and that they focused “the non-public electronic mail accounts of each President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Saad Hariri in the course of the latest disaster brought on by the surprising resignation of Hariri in Riyadh, in addition to these of the ministers of Justice and Overseas Affairs, the military and several other Lebanese banks”.

The report continued that the group behind this assault has been hacking servers for six months!! The purpose of this hack in keeping with the French day by day is to attempt to affect the polls in favor of the Shi’ites and ‘Hezbollah’ in Lebanon. if this report is correct, Iranians have to be reminded that this isn’t the USA and that nobody cares if you happen to hack Aoun or Hariri’s electronic mail accounts LOL! Nonetheless somebody wants to analyze this matter and re-assess the safety of our authorities’s community and servers.
