On Bargylus: The World’s Most Dangerous Wine

Arte.television is the newest to provide a report on Bargylus, usually labeled as the world’s most harmful wine.

Ever for the reason that Syrian warfare started, the grapes coming from the Bargylus winery situated near the Syrian coastal metropolis of Latakia, are packed on ice and transported by a taxi on a five-hour 125-mile journey all the way in which to Beirut. The winery is owned by the Saadé brothers which have been unable to the winery for greater than six years now.

Bargylus is these days the one internationally recognised wine on the planet as we speak produced from grapes grown and picked in Syria and is one in all my favourite wines, together with Marsyas which can also be produced by the Saadé brothers.
