A unique costume show with the popular characters of the Japanese anim and manga can be seen from 26 to 27 September at the East Asian Youth Culture Festival in Minsk.
INSC, 26 Sputnik. The tenth anniversary of the Belarusian festival of East Asian youth culture, Higan, will be held from 26 to 27 September 2015 in the Misk concert hall.
The Heagan festival is part of the Japanese culture festival, Japan Autumn in Belarus, 2015. It is a cultural and mature event on modern East Asian culture (Japan, Korea, China), mostly Japanese animation.
"For performances, participants (age 14 to 20 years old) sew their own suits of favorite characters, make scenarios, put amateur performances, make video clips on their own, draw drawing pictures," and tell Sputnik the organizers.
Also in the quarock competition program, dance carpets and a lot of other things. The purpose of the event is, in the view of the organizers, to bring together amateurs of the East Asian culture and to provide them with a space for creativity and expression.
The festival consists of photocops, suited scenario contests (scene, defila, drawing) videos.
The winners of the competitions determine the competent jury - people who organize such events outside Belarus or multiple winners of similar competitions.
In addition, a vote is taken on the room defining the " Prize of Eminence " .
The Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Belarus is providing a festival of information support, as well as prizes for the Japanese nominating of the Caraoca competition, where only Japanese songs will be presented, and for the winners of the J-live competition of living musical groups in Japanese. Mr. Sigeiro Mimori, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Belarus, and Mr. Yosuke Irei, the Japanese master of the game on the bamboo flute, who will open his presentation on the second competitive day of Hygana, will be presented as members of the jury and will assess the competitive skills in the above-mentioned nominees.
